बागपत – जनपद बागपत में रक्षाबंधन का त्यौहार बड़े ही धूमधाम और हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। बहनों ने भाईयों को रोली और चावल से तिलक किया, भाइयों की आरती उतारी, उनकी कलाई पर राखी बांघी, मुहं मीठा कराया और उनकी लम्बी आयु के लिए ईश्वर से प्रार्थना की। भाईयों ने बहनों को इस अवसर पर उपहार भेंट किये और उनका हर मुश्किल घड़ी में साथ देने का वचन दिया। रक्षाबंधन के त्यौहार पर भाई को राखी बांधने आयी एक बहन पूनम ने बताया कि रक्षाबन्धन का त्यौहार श्रावण माह की पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है। यह त्यौहार भाई-बहन को स्नेह की डोर में बांधता है। इस दिन बहन अपने भाई के मस्तक पर टीका लगाकर रक्षा का बन्धन बांधती है, जिसे राखी या रक्षासूत्र कहा जाता है।
कहा कि यह त्यौहार बहनों के लिए खुशियों भरा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण त्यौहार होता है जिसका वह साल भर इंतजार करती है। रक्षा बंधन के बारे में गेटवे इंटरनेशनल सीनियर सेकेड़री स्कूल बागपत के प्रधानाचार्य अमित चौहान ने बताया कि रक्षाबंधन एक ऐसा त्यौहार है जो भाई बहन के प्यार को मजबूत बनाता है। बहने भाईयों को राखी बांधकर व मिठाई खिलाकर और भाई बहनों को उपहार देकर एक दूसरे के साथ अपना प्यार साझा करते है। बताया कि उनकी बहन ने हर मुश्किल घड़ी में उनका हौंसला बढ़ाया, जिसकी वजह से जीवन की मुश्किल से मुश्किल रास्तों को भी वह आसानी से पार कर गये। कहा कि मेरी बहन मेरा अभिमान है और वे अपनी बहन के उज्जवल भविष्य के लिए ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करते है।
