बागपत – जनपद के गौरीपुर मीतली गांव में स्थित बाबा मोहनराम के चमत्कारी दिव्य धाम में हर वर्ष हजारों की संख्या में लोग दर्शनों के लिए आते है और भगवान की पूजा अर्चना करते है। गांव के पूर्व प्रधान वीरेन्द्र सिंह बताते है कि लगभग 350 वर्ष पूर्व बाबा मोहनराम ने त्रिवृक्षों के नीचे कठिन तप किया था। उनके तपोबल से यह धरती बड़ी दिव्य हो गयी।बाबा की तपस्या पूर्ण होने के उपरान्त वह यहॉं से विहार कर गये। इस स्थान पर चमत्कार होने लगे और इस स्थान की ख्याति दूर-दराज क्षेत्रों तक फैल गयी और श्रद्धालुगण इस स्थान के दर्शनों के लिए आने लगे और मनन्त मॉंगने लगे। जिस समय बाबा ने तप किया उस समय इस स्थान पर विशाल जंगल था और गांव मीतली के ग्रामवासी इस स्थान पर खेती किया करते थे। गांव के ठाकुर तरस पाल सिंह ने बताया कि बाबा मोहनराम के जाने के बाद इस दिव्य भूमि पर अनेकों सिद्ध साधु-संतो ने तपस्या की और इस दिव्य भूमि को अपनी कर्म स्थली बनाया। चबूतरे वाले बाबा इन्ही सिद्ध साधु-संतो में से एक है।
डाक्टर कर्णवीर सिंह ने बताया कि बाबा ने जिन तीन वृक्षों के नीचे बैठ कर तपस्या की वह नीम, पीपल और बरना का पेड़ है। इन पेड़ों की खास बात ये है कि ये तीनों पेड़ एक ही स्थान से निकले है और वर्तमान ने इन पेड़ के मुख्य तनों का जो व्यास आप देखते है सैकड़ों वर्षो से इतना ही है। इन तनो के व्यास में कोई भी विस्तार नही हुआ है जो कि अद्धभुत और अकल्पनीय है। बताया जाता है कि मीतली गांव के किसान एक दिन आज के वर्तमान गौरीपुर मीतली गांव के आस-पास स्थित अपने खेतों में खेती कर रहे थे उस समय माँ गौरी ने उनको दर्शन दिये और इस धरा की दिव्यता से अवगत कराया और इस स्थान पर स्वयं के आवागमन का वचन दिया .
इसके उपरान्त मीतली गांव के वे किसान जिनकी भूमि वर्तमान गौरीपुर मीतली गांव के आस-पास थी, धीरे-धीरे इस स्थान पर आकर बस गये और इस गांव को गौरीपुर मीतली के नाम से जाना जाने लगा। गांव के ग्राम प्रधान छेदा सिंह, जीत सिंह, जयपाल सिंह आदि ने बताया कि बाबा मोहनराम की कृपा से गांव खुशहाल है और लोगों के दुख-सुख में गांव का हर व्यक्ति एक परिवार के सदस्य की तरह एक-दूसरे का साथ देता है।
